XVI Regional Conference on Women in Latin America and the Caribbean

Citlalli Hernández Mora is a feminist activist and politician born in the east of Mexico City. Appointed by the Constitutional President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo as the first head of the Secretariat of Women of the Government of Mexico. Graduated with a degree in Communication with a major in Journalism from the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences of the National Autonomous University of Mexico. She has been elected as Local Deputy in 2015 and Senator for Mexico City in 2018, in both cases being the youngest in Congress and re-elected Senator in 2024.
