XVI Regional Conference on Women in Latin America and the Caribbean

Sociologist from the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of the Republic, Uruguay. She holds a Master’s degree in Sociology from the State University of Campinas, Brazil. Since 2011, she has served as a Social Affairs Officer in the Gender Affairs Division of ECLAC, where she is responsible for the area of women’s economic autonomy. Among other tasks, she monitors progress on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in matters of gender equality.
