1. Hummingbird

Native to Latin America and the Caribbean, though small, it sustains the balance of life and the planet. It pollinates, connects, and transforms.
Using it as a symbol means recognizing that only through care is there a future; that what seems minimal is, in fact, the most powerful.
Using it as a symbol at the XVI Regional Conference on Women in Latin America and the Caribbean means acknowledging that the region is currently advancing substantive equality and the care society for a better future.

2. The Speech Virgula

It represents the word that nurtures, calls together, and builds community.
Inspired by the ancestral knowledge of Latin America and the Caribbean, it symbolizes the power of voice and collective action to sustain life and transform reality.
Using it at this Regional Conference means recognizing that equality and care are also built through words, dialogues among diverse actors, and shared memories with a vision of a common future.
