Biography
Verónica Serafini is an economist with a master’s degree in social sciences from FLACSO-Mexico and a PhD in Economics from National Autonomous University of Mexico. She currently serves as gender and economics advisor and coordinates the Feminist Economics Working Group at LATINDADD. She is also a researcher at the Center for Analysis and Dissemination of the Paraguayan Economy (CADEP), holding Level II status in Paraguay’s National Researchers System.
With an extensive academic and professional background, her work has focused on topics such as fiscal policy and public spending, poverty, inequality and gender, care economy, social protection, and feminist economics.
